Starting Wage: DOE
Assist in the fabrication of high-quality custom aluminum boat hulls and components for Hooker Boatworks. This position involves aluminum welding, fitting and assembling parts, using shop tools and equipment, reading measurements and work instructions, and maintaining a high standard of fit and finish throughout the build process.
We are looking for a motivated, self-driven individual who takes initiative, works efficiently, and takes pride in producing quality work. The right person should be dependable, able to manage their time well, communicate effectively with the fabrication team, and be willing to take ownership of their work from start to finish.
Applicants should have aluminum welding training and/or verified experience, a working knowledge of manufacturing processes, and the ability to safely and effectively use the tools and equipment required for the position. We are looking for a motivated, self-driven individual with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving skills. The right person should take initiative, work efficiently, communicate well with the team, and take pride in producing clean, reliable, professional-quality installations.
Applicants should be comfortable using common electric, pneumatic, and hand tools. A basic understanding of 12-volt DC electrical systems is preferred, and prior marine or automotive electrical experience is a plus. Click job title to view full job description.
